Greg Rodin, Q.C.

Greg received his post-secondary education at the University of Manitoba, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975 and his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1978. He won awards for high academic achievement in law school.

Greg was called to the Manitoba bar in 1979. He gained extensive trial experience practicing criminal law with the highly respected Winnipeg, Manitoba, law firm of Wolch Pinx Tapper Scurfield. In 1984 Greg began practicing personal injury litigation, and has practiced almost exclusively in that field since that time.

Greg was admitted to partnership in Wolch Pinx in 1986 and remained an active partner in the firm until January, 1997. He was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1995. He established the Rodin Law Firm in December, 1997.

Greg has extensive Trial and Appellate Court experience in all levels of Courts. He was legal counsel in a number of high profile cases, including lead counsel for David Milgaard in connection with his precedent setting lawsuit against the prosecutors and police involved in his wrongful conviction and incarceration that ultimately led to a landmark compensation award.

Greg has written reports and studies on the subject of alternative automobile insurance compensation systems that were presented to government and distributed to various groups including consumer interest organizations, provincial Law Societies and Trial Lawyers Associations throughout Western Canada and Ontario.

Greg has given several lectures and presentations to the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Bar Association on the subject of personal injury litigation including conducting chronic pain cases and "beating the cap" under the Minor Injury Regulation.

Greg was appointed Queen's Counsel in December, 2009.

Richard McRae

Richard grew up in Thunder Bay, on the shores of Lake Superior in North-western Ontario. He obtained his post-secondary education at the University of Manitoba, obtaining a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and a Masters Degree in Computer Science prior to obtaining his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1992.

Richard was called to the Manitoba bar in 1993 and practiced with the firm of Pollock & Company in Winnipeg until late 1997, where he gained extensive experience in personal injury law, medical malpractice, criminal law, family law, corporate litigation, aboriginal law, and contract law.

Richard was called to the bar in Alberta in early 1998. Before joining Rodin Law Firm in 2002, he practiced in the area of insurance defense litigation, gaining valuable experience on the other side of personal injury litigation. Richard has conducted trials and appeals in all levels of Courts.
